Research Consortium

BluePortLab brings together five European universities and two European ports, combining research expertise with practical knowledge from the maritime sector.

The consortium works across disciplines and national borders to explore sustainable port development from different perspectives. Together, the partners contribute expertise relevant to the project’s work on energy, biodiversity, regional development, governance and multi-use port concepts.

The participating ports bring real-world experience and local perspectives into the research, helping connect the project’s ideas and methods with the opportunities and challenges ports face in practice.
